WORK values
Would you work if you did not have to? If so, why? Would there be a situation in which you would work for less pay? When we consider our values related to work there are many important questions that need to be answered.
"What's in your wallet?" Find a partner and ask him or her to take three things out of their wallet, purse, or pockets that they value. Have them place the three items on the desk in front them. This person should begin to think about what these items tell others about your value system. Once everyone in your group has done this, students should share with the group what the items are and why they represent one of their values.
